Back in March 2024, we had this idea to bring together some incredible DJs we admire here in Los Angeles for a week focused purely on creating scratch music together. We made sounds using our plugins or samples, Airdropped them straight to whoever&#8217;s turn it was on the decks, and they&#8217;d load it into Serato to lay down their interpretation right then and there. Forget long editing processes; Jean would handle quick chops and arrangements to keep the energy tight, and we&#8217;d move right onto the next sound or idea. The process was super collaborative \u2013 people would just jump on a track if they felt an idea, or tap someone else in if they needed a fresh take.
