BEATSURFING is a Belgian music-technology company that builds real-time, playable instruments for music producers: audio plugins for macOS and Windows, the BEATSURFING2 iPad app, and original sound content. It is the trading name of Druw Audio srl.

What plugin formats does BEATSURFING support?

VST, VST3, AU and AAX, on macOS and Windows. They run in any DAW that hosts those formats, including Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Pro Tools, Cubase, Bitwig, Reaper and Studio One. There is no standalone version: BEATSURFING plugins are designed to run inside your DAW.

Is there a free BEATSURFING plugin?

Yes. VRAC is free, the BEATSURFING2 iPad app is free to download, and there is a free sample pack and a free Ableton Live project.

Are BEATSURFING plugins a subscription?

No. Desktop plugins are one-time purchases, owned permanently. The only time-limited item is the BEATSURFING2 iPad in-app unlock, which runs for 12 months and is not renewed automatically.

Why is the price I see different from the published one?

Pricing is per customer. Published figures are public prices, paid by someone who has never bought from BEATSURFING. If you already own BEATSURFING products, your customer tier gives you the public price minus 10% to 35%. Sign in to your account to see your own price.

Consumers have 14 days from order acceptance, for any reason, except on sample packs. Early Bird purchases have 28 days from the product official release date.

Is there a student discount?

Yes. Students get 70% off individual plugins, claimed with an educational email address and a valid school ID. Bundles, Early Bird pricing and pre-orders are excluded.

DRUW is a performance-driven rhythm instrument released in mid-October 2026. It is played in real time from a phone, tablet or controller while all the audio stays inside your DAW. It is deliberately not a step sequencer or an automatic beat generator: it produces nothing unless you play it.
