CHEat code
Everything you need to install CHEat code and get to know its 16 effect modules.
Welcome
Meet CHEat code
Break the rules. Hack your sound. CHEat code is a multi-effects processor reimagined, developed with the legendary Che Pope.
Sixteen meticulously crafted modules, designed for radical sound transformation and a faster workflow. Stack them. Re-route them. It's your new unfair advantage. Stop the routine, start creating.
Key capabilities
- 16 effect engines
- Granular synthesis, warped delays, rich modulation, rhythmic slicing and textural processing: each module has its own sonic signature.
- Fluid routing
- Connect modules in series for evolving chains, or in parallel for complex layers. Unlike traditional FX plugins that make you choose, CHEat code lets you explore everything in between: with the knob centered, the signal is exactly halfway between series and parallel, blending both paths.
- Performance mode
- Momentary effect throws and touch-sensitive automation returns capture the spontaneity of live performance in your DAW.
- Advanced macros
- Four standard macros plus a three-state morphing control bridge intricate sound design and intuitive performance.

macOS
- Download the CHEat code_vX.X.X.pkg installer file.

After purchasing CHEat code, your license key appears on your Licenses page: beatsurfing.com/my-account/license-keys.
Quick start
Activating & deactivating the license
Each license you buy lets you activate the plugin on 3 computers at a time.
If you need to run it on another machine, first deactivate the plugin's license on one of your machines.
When a license is deactivated
Your plugin is still usable, but in a frozen state: your existing sessions will load the plugin and its parameters in their last saved state. However, you won't be able to access the user interface to tweak its parameters.
