7DeadlySnares are 7 unique snare engines
Sloth: Based on classic analog rhythm box style snares. This snare sound has a distinctive, snappy attack and long decay, giving it a characteristic “booming” quality. Prized for their warmth, character, and ability to cut through a mix. Tweak it to your delight with 4 macros. Macro A changes the noise to the body fm amount. Macros B/C/D then adjust the Transient/Decay/Tone brightness.
Lust: Water-type snares. The “Lust” engine is a distinctive and innovative sound engine that creates snare sounds by using water field recordings as its noise source. This gives the snare a fresh, organic texture that differs from traditional analog or synthesized snares. The engine maintains a general analog snare architecture but replaces the usual white noise with a granular water section, providing a rare and fresh sonic character. Lust is great for original clap sounds as well.
Envy: 80’s kinda snare. With a focus on sculpting noise across the frequency spectrum and fine-tuning the sustain, Envy provides you with the tools to create snare sounds that are both retro and new. Whether you’re channeling the spirit of synth wave, pop, or rock, this engine ensures your snare will stand out with the perfect blend of sharpness and depth.
Greed: This engine introduces a melodic aspect to the snare, with a pronounced fundamental tone that allows the snare to be tuned to a key, making it a unique and musical percussive element. Great for pitch tracking on the keyboard.
Pride: Classic analog rhythm box styles snare. The “Pride” engine is focused on delivering classic analog rhythm box snare sounds, which are known for their consistency, punch, and simplicity. These types of snares are often found in vintage drum machines and are prized for their straightforward, effective design.

Gluttony & Wrath engines
Gluttony: We created this engine around Foley samples, which are commonly used to add ambient sounds or real-world noises to a track to enhance the sounds. The Gluttony engine is great for adding depth and texture to your beats.
The macros change the body amount (A), Transient and Decay brightness (B/C) and last Macro D introduces a slight noise change with every hit.
Wrath: Old school boom bap style snares. This engine is inspired by the gritty, punchy snares that were a hallmark of the boom bap era of hip-hop. Wrath is featuring a pronounced, aggressive “crack” that cuts through the mix. The sound of the snare is typically dry, punchy, and has a strong attack with minimal reverb, which allows it to dominate the rhythmic structure of the track.
